50mm Challenge

I talk with other photographers a lot, and one conversation I have often is zoom lenses vs. prime lenses (lenses with a set focal range).  My favorite lens is the canon 24-70mm 2.8 L ... I literally never take it off my camera.  I love the versatility and variety of types of shots I can get quickly in a single shoot.  However, my good friend, Andrew, always talks about how it pushes and challenges him to be creative within a set focal length, and another friend, Lauren, even posted on her blog about it here (both of them are sick photographers, so you should check them out).  Challenged received guys.  So, I went to Atlanta with my band, Sleeperstar, for a show this past weekend, and I only brought my 50mm 1.4.
